High West A Midwinter Night’s Dram The Encore Act 1 750mL

High West A Midwinter Night’s Dram The Encore Act 1 is a limited-edition straight rye whiskey from High West Distillery, created as a special extension of the acclaimed A Midwinter Night’s Dram collection. The Encore takes High West’s signature rye whiskey and finishes it in white Port barrels, offering a distinctive variation on the rich wine-cask influence that made the original Midwinter Night’s Dram series famous. Bottled at 101.6 proof (50.8% ABV), Act 1 delivers a bold combination of rye spice, bright fruit, sweetness, and oak.

The nose opens with ripe orchard fruit, vanilla, honey, citrus, and warming spice. On the palate, layers of pear, apricot, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper mingle with the whiskey’s characteristic rye spice. The white Port finish contributes additional fruit and sweetness before a long, warming finish of honey, vanilla, baking spice, and toasted oak.
