Shipping and Return Policy

Processing Time

Standard processing time is 1 to 7 business days, depending on order volume and seasonal demand. During peak periods (e.g., holidays), processing may be delayed due to increased demand. While we strive to ship all orders as quickly as possible, we prioritize accuracy and quality.

Please note: Selecting Next Day Air only affects the shipping speed after your order has been processed. It does not expedite Whiskey Shelf's internal processing time. Courier fees are paid directly to the carrier and do not affect how quickly we process your order.

Expedited Processing

For time-sensitive orders, we offer Expedited Processing for a $40 fee, which guarantees that your order will ship within 24 business hours.

Example:

  • Order placed on Tuesday → Ships by Wednesday

  • Order placed on Friday → Ships by Monday

If we fail to meet this 24-business-hour guarantee, your expedited processing fee will be fully refunded.

Return & Refund Policy

All sales are final. Whiskey Shelf does not offer returns or refunds under normal circumstances.

We may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis, subject to the following terms:

  • A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If the product originally qualified for free shipping, a $40 deduction will be applied to cover shipping and handling.


Failed Deliveries

If delivery is unsuccessful and the item is returned to Whiskey Shelf:

  • A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If free promotional shipping was used, a $40 deduction will apply.

  • If the returned item arrives damaged due to a failed delivery or refused delivery, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for the full cost.

All alcohol shipments require the signature of an adult 21 years of age or older upon delivery.

UPS Adult Signature Policy

Due to UPS's updated policy for Adult Signature Required shipments, if no eligible adult is available to sign during the first delivery attempt, UPS may automatically redirect your package to the nearest UPS Access Point or another authorized UPS pickup location for secure pickup.

Once redirected, UPS will notify you with the pickup location and instructions. A valid government-issued photo ID confirming you are 21 years of age or older is required to collect your package.

Please note that this policy is determined by UPS and is outside of Whiskey Shelf's control.

If the item is damaged after three consecutive delivery attempts, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for the full cost. It is your responsibility to ensure someone 21 years or older is available to sign for the package. If no one will be available, you may request a Hold for Pickup through UPS and collect the package at your convenience.


Free Shipping Codes

Discount codes offering Free Shipping apply only to Ground Shipping.

If another shipping method (such as Next Day Air) is selected without paying the applicable shipping charge, the order will automatically default to Ground Shipping.

Free shipping promotions do not apply to shipments outside of the continental United States.


Misuse of Discount Codes and Promotions

Promotional offers, discount codes, and free shipping incentives are limited to one use per customer, household, or transaction, unless otherwise stated.

Any attempt to circumvent these limits—including, but not limited to, splitting one order into multiple orders to reuse a promotion—is strictly prohibited.

Whiskey Shelf reserves the right to cancel any related orders without prior notice if misuse is detected. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued at our discretion after deducting any applicable processing and shipping costs.

Continued abuse of promotional offers may result in account suspension and loss of eligibility for future promotions.

By using a promotional code, you agree to these terms.


Exchanges & Store Credit

We offer exchanges or store credit only in the following situations:

1. Damaged Products

If your item arrives significantly damaged and you purchased Order Armor Shipping Protection, you may be eligible for:

  • A replacement (if the item is available), or

  • Store credit equal to the value of the item, including shipping (if the item is out of stock).

2. Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item:

  • We will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

  • Once the incorrect item has been returned, we will ship the correct item.

  • If the correct item is no longer available, you will receive store credit equal to your purchase price.


Order Cancellations

If your order has not yet been packaged or shipped, you may request a cancellation. Approval is at the discretion of Whiskey Shelf.

A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from any approved refund.

Engraved products are final sale and cannot be canceled because they are custom-made specifically for your order.
